Welcome to the Keredean Gundogs website, a photographic showcase of our working and field trialling gundogs.
Keredean Gundogs is a small, non-commercial working gundog kennel situated in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. We specialise in Working Cocker Spaniels for both shooting and field trialing. The local area is ideally suited for dog training and 'Spaniels' in particular with plenty of local and commercial shoots to train our dogs and to gain experience with all of our dogs doing plenty of beating and picking up over the season.
Keredean Gundogs was established in 2007 with the purchase of our first gundog Brodie. She introduced me to the world of beating and picking up. Brodie gained me many an invite on both local and commercial shoots across Scotland and the opportunity to meet many like minded people, many of which are now good friends.
The Keredean affix is the culmination of myself and my wife Angela. The affix was registered in 2011 when decided to have our first litter. The 'team' has somewhat expanded and we now the proud owner of several cockers. Our aim is to establish a good sound bitch line with drive, intelligence, trainability as well as good looks and style.
