Poppy was sired by our good friend Martin Smee's FTCH Cheweky Bovril (www.lochken.com).  She is Brodie's daughter from the first litter we bred from her and what a contrast in personalities!  From the start Poppy proved to be more honest, reserved and biddable than her mum.  

Poppy is very much a Dad's girl.  She is a very intelligent and honest dog with a lot of natural hunting ability, drive and style.  She is a pleasure to work and shoot over.  Poppy is a steady hard working little dog with bags of stamina and is part of the beating and picking up team.  

Poppy has a fabulous temperament and loads of character. She was very easy to train and is a great rough shooting dog and regularly accompanies me on my rough shooting syndicate.
