Midge - OFTW Drumnascamp Abbey of Keredean
|
Midge was bred by Brian Byrne of Drumbanagher, which is the home of Drumnascamp Cocker Spaniels (www.drumbanaghershoot.co.uk). The kennels at Drumbanagher boasts a lineage selectively bred from some of the UK's most noted Field Trial Champions.
Midge was purchased from our good friend Andy Platt of Nithvalley Gundogs, she is an absolute pleasure to have around and a lovely little character with the most fabulous temperament and the typical happy go lucky attitude of the working cocker spaniel. Midge was part of my beating and picking up team during the 2012/2013 season. Despite being such a young dog she conducted herself with great dignity. Whether she was working on a grouse moor, accompanying me rough shooting or working on a large commercial pheasant shoot she remained honest and never seemed phased or overwhelmed. It was at this point I knew I wanted to trial Midge.
